FAQ

I'm not sure if I can stand on my board

I have captured many women surfers who have just started surfing, and the joy was infectious. I focus not on performance of surfing but the feeling of joy and capture that as your cheerleader. I can find a surf instructor at your cost if you wished.

How do I book and what do I have to do?

STEP BY STEP guide:

STEP 1: Send me an email via the contact page, or DM me on Instagram with these information:

-Your favourite surf conditions

-what board you ride

-2 available dates

-special requests and names, email/social handle of everyone attending the shoot

I will work with you to choose the time, place and date with the best forecast for both of us.

STEP 2: You will get an email invoice for a non-refundable deposit (25% of package cost) which you have to pay upon agreement of the date of the shoot. You are all booked in once you have the receipt of the deposit! So exciting.

You will also be required to sign a waiver with the confirmation of booking.

STEP 3: I will get in touch with you 3 days before the shoot to:

-check in with you

-report surf forecasts

-Invoice for the remaining cost x

----see below for a guide on day of the shoot----

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely!

The only thing to note will be surf forecast, crowd, and the travel time.

The location of the shoot has to be between Nobby's and Moonee beach inclusively in Newcastle unless organised beforehand on additional travel charges.

What do I do on the day of the shoot?

STEP 1: Keep your phone on you on the day of the shoot

I will excitedly send you a photo/video of the surf 15 minutes before the time of the shoot, and the meeting spot. If the surf looks out of your comfort zone, we will move to a different beach.

STEP 2: We can do a couple of directed shots before moving into the water. Then you have fun, share your joy, your stories, as you get cheered on the waves and I capture you in your element.

If you can, stay on the wave for as long as you can, and ride straight towards me!

STEP 3: I will tell you when you have 10 minutes left on the shoot. You will see me wave at you when your time is up. I will send you a message of appreciation, and you will get your gallery within 2 weeks from the date of the shoot.

What happens after the shoot?

You can continue surfing and enjoying the day!

You will get a message to tell you the date your gallery will be delivered, which within 2 weeks of the day of the shoot.

Your gallery is delivered via PIXIESET website, on a link in your email.

You will be given a password and a download pin to use for security, and will be required to put your email address in again.

There will be prompts on how to navigate the gallery.

If you wanted a photo edited differently, depending on the request there may be additional charges.

But I want to get photos taken tomorrow

Email me HERE and DM me HERE

and we might be able to make that work depending on my availability!

You will need to pay the full cost upon confirmation of time and place if this aligned.
